SoNo Rowing

Masters
Rowing, one of the fastest growing sports in America, is gaining popularity because it is an intense, full-body workout that develops strength, flexibility, and confidence. However, based on the nature of the sport and it's low impact, many athletes will row and race well past retirement age.

Adult rowers are called “Masters.” Our masters program trains from December to late October/early November, however some rowers only partake in particular seasons. Classes meet for ninety minutes on the water and during winter sixty minutes on land and are offered two, three, or five days per week. To help rowers practice in suitable programs, SoNo Rowing has developed a level system to help individuals practice comfortably with those of similar abilities. Upon final enrollment, coaches will use these skill levels along with the preferences and goals expressed by the rowers to implement training programs tailored to the needs of each individual class.
